Honestly, this was an experience I can never forget. This was something I have never witnessed in my life. Truthfully I didn’t really want to go all the way to St.George just to watch poetry but I’m very glad I did. When I attended the performance I expected just regular old poetry recited from a piece of paper, but this was something different. The poets were so raw, you could really feel the emotion poured into their work when they spoke. They used sounds to really set the tone of the poem, for example, the bass, that was probably one of the most creative things I’ve ever seen when it comes down to literature.
