2 words … BLOWN AWAY!

I was really debating on attending so once I finally made up my mind I was going I knew it was going to be boring. Totally not what I expected! I absolutely loved every single minute of it. The first performer had me in tears at one point. She was reciting a poem about someone in a hospital room close to dying and that took me back to when I spend all those months with my grandfather in a hospital room and it filled my eyes up with tears. Every word moved me in ways I never thought poetry would.  The second performer Morris she was amazing too. She used different techniques to reach us. I also thought it was cool at the melody and the sounds she was making it was as if we could feel the poetry. I had such a great time! Thank you professor Brim!
