Walking into this event, I thought that I would be listening to regular poetry. Maybe some spoken word, things that are happening within our century.. however was I wrong 🌚. This event was soooo different, apparently there’s this thing called “sound poetry” never heard of that until last week.. and it’s literally just sounds that you make whilst performing your work… that intertwine with the words.. (pretty cool). It was nice to see something different for a change, the poet that said she heard voices in her head creeped me out a bit, but once she started telling a story within her poems; it was very understanding why she becomes in sync with those voices… Overall, cool event, I’d attend another one. Hopefully there’d be chocolates from England again , nevertheless, MAYBE some WINDOWS too 😒. !!
