Queer Studies Class? Wait What ? (Taylor)

Walking into this 6:30 class, I expected the regular routine: students come in, everyone looks for the seat next to an outlet, boring professor walks in says “hey class, wait… what time does this class start?” everyone looks up and replies “6:30”.  No name professor,  usually waits a few more minutes for the class to fill up, and then begins by handing out a syllabus or showing us one. However, this didn’t happen on the first day at ALL. My first day, included me using my brain about questions I thought I had the answers to… “what is a syllabus”, “what is grading”.  My first day showed me that,  I will be using the part of my brain that I rarely ever use, basically for all the things I thought I knew, but quite frankly, never thought about. Day 1 has taught me to expect the unexpected, but most of all UNDERSTAND the unexpected.

Secretly intrigued for Day 2!!!
